"Hiya Kids! A 50's Saturday Morning Box" |
Since I'm back, I'd like to know if anyone could buy a Shout Factory DVD set called "Hiya Kids! A 50's Saturday Morning Box" and upload the PD parts of it's contents. It's features many rare old kids shows like "Howdy Doody", "Beany and Cecil", "Ding Dong School", "Lassie", and even "Kids and Company" (A crappy show, But one so rare I'd instantly give it 5/5).
I'm cutting back on uploads, Until I get a faster internet connection (It currently takes me an hour to upload one 30 minute TV broadcast in MPEG4 quality)

Shout Factory releases |
I have a much better Shout Factory offering: Several complete episodes of The Dick Cavett Show. with such guests as John Lennon & Yoko Ono, Bette Davis, Alfred Hitchcock, Janis Joplin, Jack Benny, and Bill Cosby.
Oh, that's right.....the Archive won't allow non-PD quality programming. Too bad, because if Dick Cavett knew I'm sure he wouldn't mind. Guess I'll have to upload it at another site where those kinds of shows are welcome. :)

To be honest... |
After seeing his interview of ABBA, I have no desire to see any more of his TV series. My parents don't like his show either.

I haven't seen Cavett's interview of the rock group ABBA, but keep in mind that not all interviews go smoothly no matter who the talk show host is. And usually Dick's interviews went quite well.

I'm glad you called ABBA an "rock group", since I'm sick of people called them "Disco". ABBA actually recorded very few Disco songs, But many of their songs could be considered a form of Rock, albeit not very "heavy". If Duran Duran and The Platters can be considered "rock" by the critics, Then ABBA should too.
